All the way from Sydney, Sydney these two movers and shakers of the call-it-what-you-will music scene:

Jimmy Sing is the man behind Jimmy Sing’s Record Stand and is also one part of the always sizzling hot party starters Ro Sham Bo. Jim can also be found behind the scenes organising tours with folk such as Edu K and South Rakkas Crew.

Matthew was kind enough to come and kick some sonic arse a few weeks back at Collectors Set. He took us on some kind of cosmic disco electro cataclysm, and now you can experience it too.

Go on.... its a good trip. Trust us.

This one verges on the two hour mark, so settle in and shake your booty!

Welcome to the first Collectors Set Podcast. We kick off with Dylan Martorell's brain-busting genre-warping DJ set. Mr Martorell kept the dancers on their toes all night with a megamix of the eclectic, exotic, sometimes electronic and psychedelic...

Dylan performs in Snawklor and Hi-God People as well as being a mighty talented illustrator/artist.

Collectors Set info:
Hosted and curated by Lucreccia Quintanilla and Jason Heller,
Collectors' Set presents a weekly variety showcase evening at The Recorded Music Salon, rounding up an eclectic selection of local musicians and DJs.

Some performers may choose to experiment with their line up and instrumentation to fit the environment and DJs will enjoy the rare opportunity to dig deep into their collections and deliver sets that transcend the pressures of the dance-floor.

Collectors' Set aims to create intimately unique listening experiences involving the guitar slinging, keyboard clinking , vinyl spinning music merchants of Melbourne town.

Saturday 15th of March.

Welcome!
